Our recent Ten on Tuesday subject on mittens got me inspired. I'd recieved the beautiful Kashmir yarn in the Woolen Rabbit yarn club and thought it was heavenly. I loved the color and the feel. I needed to use it soon. The pattern for the month was a hat. I don't wear hats. I look terrible and please don't let me get going about long hair girls and their ponytails and how they just throw their hair back in said ponytail and throw on a hat and then they look at you (short hair girl) and say oh you look fine! (Rain, snow, wind, whateverrrrr.)
The pattern is Spruce Tree Mittens and they were a joy to knit. Details linked to Ravelry.
Happy Wednesday!

<3 I keep meaning to knit mittens and never seem to get around to it. despite the dozen or so patterns I added to my favorites that 10 on tuesday week. maybe if it snows tomorrow....
Beautiful color and great mittens! I don't wear hats either, they wreak havoc with those of us with bangs.
They're wonderful! Nothing like a good mitten pattern. ;^)
OOOOO! Love them! I also have that yarn (from that club), and although that hat is adorable in every way. . . I would look like a goofball in it (and then my hair would be all static-y and I would be a disaster). Anyway. Now I know I need lovely red mittens! :-) (Thanks for helping me sort that out!)
