10 Great Interview Questions

Carole’s topic this week is 10 Great Interview Questions.  I don’t conduct many interviews and there is no way I could really add to Carole’s questions or the ones Mary posted either. They’re purposeful, intelligent and interesting. I’ve been working at the same place for over 10 years now and it’s a reasonably small facility.  Many of us have been here a long time so let’s just say we’re all a bit snarky and sarcastic at this point.  So instead, I’m going to offer 10 questions I’d like to ask in an interview but can’t!!!

1.    Do you plan on showing up every day?  Monday IS a work day here!

2.    Do you plan on being helpful and a team player or do you subscribe to the “it’s not my  job” philosophy?

3.    Will you refill the coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, copy paper, toner, etc. if you use the last of it?

4.    Are you a shit stirrer?

5.     Do you catch every virus /flu /cold and while we’re asking – how’s your back?

6.    Have you ever made a mistake?

7.    Do you have any bill collectors, ex-girlfriends or wives, pain-in-the-neck children or current relationships that find it necessary to call you numerous times during the day?

8.    Please, tell me about the computer websites you frequent.

9.     How’s your office supplied…at home?

10.   Are you a blogger? :-)
