Home Is Where The Heart Is

Happy Friday everyone!  I took this picture as I walked out of the house I grew up in for the last time. 9/10/11.  My Dad wouldn't let us take the big picture down so we left it for my cousin to dispose of.  Not a real problem since there was a dumpster on the driveway. We're headed back this Sunday for a visit.  There have been big renovations and changes. I think it's going to be a little emotional  but heavy on happiness for the young family now calling this house home!

I can't quite imagine! My family moved around several times as I was growing up, so I never had that kind of connection with a house. Hope seeing the changes will bring you some closure. Have a great weekend.

I drive by the house I grew up in occasionally and I like seeing the changes they have made. They put on a big deck, which my mom always wanted, so that makes me smile. I hope you enjoy seeing the changes in your childhood home and I hope it's not too emotional.

hope you find peace with your visit. at least you'll know what the reality is instead of imagining it. and a young family to love it and call it home is the best a house can ever have, right?
