10 Things to Love About The 4th of July
Oh how I love the 4th of July weekend and as far as I'm concerned the hotter the better.
This year is especially nice as July 5th begins a week long vacation to CO to visit TLP and some old friends. Bring it on!
1. Generally hot weather though I know we were wearing fleece two years ago!
2. Family cook-outs.
3. Fireworks on the lake with great friends.
4. Running through the full campgrounds and smelling the campfires and bacon.
5. How somehow it's relaxing no matter how much is going on.
6. The flowers are really starting to bloom.
7. My year-end work commitments are done!
8. Hot dogs.
9. Just having that extra day off.
10. And hopefully with the cortisone shot today...lots of knitting time!
Wishing you all a great holiday weekend!

Great list, Patty! I love the Fourth of July, too. Have a wonderful vacation -- and hope that cortisone shot works its magic! :-)
Poor you - cortisone shots are no fun. I hope it did the trick, and you can look forward to a fabulous holiday weekend!! :)
And don't forget kayaking in the rain!!
