If you're not familiar this is Wally, The RemDawg's sidekick. He's celebrating the opening day of baseball and the completion of my Sockapaloooza socks. Wally says yay! I say yay! I loved this worsted weight yarn, in a Violets colorway, from Dani at Sunshine yarns. The pattern is a classic sock pattern with a reverse garter stitch borrowed from Sensational Knitted Socks. It was a quick and fun knit. My sock pal requested heavy weight hiking socks so these should fit the bill. I'll also admit the pressure of knitting for someone I don't know really helped me complete this project ahead of schedule. Too bad it's not like that getting things done around the house!
