Vacation! Vacation! Vacation!

May I present to you not a single stitch of Olympic knitting, one completed Jaywalker, that would be one, a peek at the beginning of my sock pal sock and one autographed Major League baseball caught and signed at Red Sox spring training. Oh, what fun that was! Though I decided early on to withdraw from Olympic competition, my s-i-l completed a beautiful pair of socks you can see here. There are also some photos of our completely perfect vacation spent relaxing, knitting, sunning and watching our beloved Red Sox, Red Sox, Red Sox.
With some inspiration from the wonderful publication Sensational Knitted Socks, my sock pal sock has been started. This lovely item will certainly knit up a bit quicker than the Jaywalker did. After using the size one needles the size three needles feel like I'm knitting with hockey sticks!
